Peacemaker Thunderbolt

The Skindog Peacemaker surfboard emerged from a collaboration between Ben and longboarder, shaper, and fellow board enthusiast CJ Nelson. Their goal was to design a board that could blend traditional longboarding with the high-performance style Ben is renowned for. The Peacemaker is the result of this effort, bridging the gap between classic longboarding and modern performance surfing.

At first glance, the Peacemaker feels like a traditional longboard with its 50/50 rail, but this rail seamlessly transitions from a high apex in the nose to a low, hard shortboard-style performance rail at the tail. Ben takes pride in how the Peacemaker effortlessly flows and rolls between classic longboard and radical shortboard maneuvers without any clunky hiccups. It represents a decade of work and innovation, resulting in a board that defies traditional restrictions. Whether you prefer to nose ride or execute sharp turns from the tail, the Peacemaker adapts to your style.

Constructed using ‘Thunderbolt Red’ technology, the Peacemaker features a 100% hand-layup Fibreglass Lamination, which delivers a competition-weight and flex surfboard. This technology uses a Fused Cell EPS Foam Blank with a Carbon Fibre Multi-Component Flex Control System, replacing the traditional wooden stringer. The lamination and EPS foam construction provide a familiar flex that endures over the board’s lifespan. The board features a 6oz + 4oz Fibreglass deck lamination and a 6oz + 2oz Fibreglass bottom, with the EPS core protected by a Core Shield PVC Shell.

Forget the lifeless, corky EPS boards you might have heard about or owned. The Peacemaker is far from the mass-produced, characterless epoxy surfboards commonly churned out in the far east.
