The core uses a Fused Cell EPS Foam Blank, integrated with a Carbon Fibre Multi-Component Flex Control System, replacing the traditional wooden stringer. This, combined with the Xeon Fibreglass lamination, offers a reliable flex that lasts throughout the board’s extended lifespan. Thunderbolt Red employs a 6 + 4oz fibreglass deck lamination and a 6 + 2oz lamination on the bottom, wrapped in a Core Shield PVC Shell for flexible protection of the EPS core.
