DESCRIPTION:
An evolution of Rob Machado’s popular “Go Fish” model from 2017, the new Too Fish model incorporates insights from the Seaside, crafted using Firewire Surfboards’ Helium Technology. This design delivers a light and lively response underfoot with enhanced durability thanks to aerospace deck skins on both the top and bottom, and a rail made of paulownia and balsa wood for controlled flex and rebound in turns. Rob Machado describes the Too Fish as his favorite for small and weak waves due to its thickness and floatiness in the board’s forward two-thirds, while the aggressively thinned-out tail provides hold in powerful waves. It has proven versatile in various conditions, from overhead waves on the North Shore to perfect reef days and even the weakest, most disorganized beach break waves.
