The Kai Sallas Thunderbolt Waikiki longboard is designed with a traditional shape that is intuitive and versatile, suitable for a wide range of surfers. Featuring 50/50 round rails along the entire board and a classic concave on the hull, it is crafted for graceful, smooth, and low-paced surfing. This board truly embodies the Waikiki spirit.

Thunderbolt Construction:

The Thunderbolt construction integrates advanced materials and technologies to enhance lightness, performance, flex, control, and durability. Unlike typical epoxy boards, which can be too stiff and prone to kicking or bouncing in less-than-perfect conditions, Thunderbolt boards offer a blend of the responsiveness of a PU board with the lightness and reactivity of an epoxy board. Each board is handmade with an EPS foam core reinforced by carbon fiber inserts and multi-component construction, providing a unique flex and twist. A PVC sandwich surrounds the foam core, making the board significantly stronger than traditional boards.
